BADRI EU-funded Project
The EU-funded BADRI Project, coordinated by the European Jewish Congress (EJC), is a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening Jewish communities in Europe and promoting interfaith dialogue. Through the involvement of partners such as SACC by EJC, the Jewish Community of Vienna (IKG Wien), and Faith Matters (FM), the project engages in a variety of activities. These include creating animated educational videos to raise awareness about Jewish culture, facilitating encounters between Jews and non-Jews, and hosting the Resilient Communities Conference to foster cooperation between faith-based communities and the judiciary in combating antisemitism. The project also provides security awareness resources for children through the SAFE Digital Platform and offers capacity-building workshops on crisis management and victim rights through its PREACT training programme.
About SAFE
The SAFE programme, developed by SACC by EJC, is designed to increase young people’s awareness of potential threats they may face. By sharing best practices, the programme fosters resilience, builds self-confidence, and enhances cooperation with law enforcement. In addition to promoting security in public spaces and online, SAFE advocates for tolerance and inclusion, working to prevent antisemitism, racism, xenophobia, and all forms of hatred. The SAFE web platform offers a positive and interactive approach, equipping teachers with the tools to train students while also providing direct access for the youth to explore educational games and resources that enhance their knowledge and preparedness.
